During one of the Bpeace missions I led to Rwanda,  I realized the role I could play in directly supporting economic development efforts of genocide survivors involved in the Rwanda Knits project. As a result, Made for Peace was born as a means to bring to market the beautiful items produced by women who depend on their sale to build a better life.  The Made for Peace scarves represent more than quality knits, they represent the hope for a prosperous future for the Rwandan knitters and their families and were Made for Peace.
